Full High Definition Digital Terrestrial Receiver MPEG-4

LEGENT HD2 is a terrestrial digital receiver, Full HD resolution. It has, also, a PVR recording function. Enjoy digital terrestrial channels with perfect picture and sound.

SOFTWARE UPGRADE FOR LEGENT HD2, Date 9-1-2015

Caution!!! The above upgrade is only for LEGENT HD2. Do not use the above software on no other model Legent, because they accept different firmwares, which are not compatible with the software LEGEND HD2, so they can cause damage.

Upgrade instructions LEGENT HD2 : 

The receiver-decoder is connected to the TV connection, but closed by standby.

We copy the last firmware 9-1-2015 in a USB STICK , (we don't change its name and we don't put it inside a folder) and enter the stick to the decoder's USB port. We turn on from stand by.

After the receiver has been turned on, in a few seconds, a message appears on the TV screen : “Disk connected USB.“.

On the remote control we press Menu – System – Firmware Update – USB Update and we choose the update file : 9-1-2015_Firmware_LegentHD2.bin. Then, the update process starts.

(If the upgrade process does not start, we use USB stick in FAT32 format.)

After the upgrade, we do Factory Settings and check in the System Information if the software release date is indicated 9-1-2015.

Save channels to usb and load channels from usb

We scan the channels and we arrange them with the remote control in the order we want. We insert one usb stick to the receiver. We press Menu – Channel Scan – Save Channels – Backup to USB and we save the channel list in USB in .dbm format.

If for some reason we do a Factory Reset and the channels are lost, then we can now restore them through the USB Stick, pressing : Menu – Channel Search – DB Managment – Load from USB, we choose the .dbm file and the channel list is passed to the receiver in the same order.

If we want to pass the channel list to a new receiver that has no channels, we press Menu – Channel Search – DB Managment – Load from USB, we choose the .dbm file and the channel list is passed to the new receiver in the same order.
